« There is no central or split/window air conditioning in the rooms. They do provide a cheap floor standing portable AC unit only in the bedroom. Since it is tropical rainforest weather , the rooms stay pretty warm without air-conditioning. We had to request additional pedestal fans to keep us cooler in living area .
The condo was not well maintained , creaky door hinges , a super noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom with no separate switch which has to be on if the light is on , no blackout...
« We love this property! This is our second trip to Kauai and both times we stayed at this Marriott. The pools are saltwater and so relaxing to be in. We enjoyed the hot tub too. This property is located directly off Poipu Beach. Right down the beach you can see the turtles at sunset and the occasional monk seals. Many of the people who stay there are time share owners but we are not. We basically had a nice hotel room. The reasoning for the 4 stars was our AC. We had maintenance come in on 4...
« Great! Property! Honestly surpassed our expectations upon arrival! Walking distance to the beach but if you have a family I would recommend still driving to turtle cove if you have beach gear so it’s easier to manage! (Minute drive). They had all the fun gear needed to go picnic, boogie board, ice chest and snorkel gear. Can’t wait to come back next year with the new edition to our family!! »
