Property was fine, a bit loud on Thursday nite but we expected that, rooms are quiet overall and you are left to your own devices. Woke up Sunday to no internet, called the number to fix it twice, never did get a call back. Finally called a maintenance number, guy picks up the phone, doesn’t introduce himself so I wasn’t sure who I was talking to, anyway he did appear in what looked like his pajamas, fixed the TV and rebooted the router at my request so we were fixed. Just a bit weird. Also arrived in Guelph, went to dinner at twelve and since I have a warning on my visa, got a full charge to my card three hours before I checked in, got a bit worried about that so went to the bar where you check in and found someone to call the main office to see who did this and to be sure it was the hotel. No receipt to explain this until I requested one. Be aware of that. On the other hand, the place was fine, had what we needed so we were ok with staying the week. Parking is impossible, you will have to pay to stay with a vehicle. Visitors can only park for two hours each day unless they want a fine. Watch where u leave your car, while we were there, a fire truck and police showed up as people smoking meth in the stairwell of the parking garage set a garbage can on fire. Outside of this excitement , it was fine, we would stay again as you’re close to everything.
