« I had a wonderful stay at Stonecroft Lodge. I have stayed before and will look to return again as testament to the quality of the accommodation and also the peace and relaxation factor. »

« Excellent property in a superb location. Only a few minutes walk to town through a lovely woodland. It accommodated 4 adults and two dogs perfectly. The host was exceptional with thier preparation of the property and it was faultless for our needs. Highly recommended for time spent in Belper or the wider region. »

« Spotless, comfy bed, great location, warm and welcoming. Thank you. »

« Lovely little cottage in a beautiful setting. Great walks around. Bed comfortable and lovely warm shower. The welcome package was very helpful as I arrived late on Sunday and forgot the English shops closed early! »

« Really good accommodation in great location. Milk, bread and other things in the fridge. Easy check-in. Very pleased »

« I can not fault the woodshed or Karl the host. Just amazing »

« Lovely quirky place, close to the local amenities! Everything was catered for and a welcome gift greeted us on arrival. The secluded garden was a little treat to relax in. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking outside and on the street! Will definitely come back! »

« We loved Riber View! Positives: comfy beds, clean throughout, nice sofas, sun trap garden, dog friendly, great view. No real negatives for us. Will definitely stay again. »

« What a beautiful place, with beautiful people and animals »

« Very clean with extremely comfortable beds. The welcome pack was a lovely thought and much appreciated. »

« Fantastic people friendly have a nice christmas 2025 »

« The Snug was very comfortable and well equipped. It was also very clean. I could not work the shower but I did not contact the owner so I am sure it would have been sorted if I had. It was only three nights and there was a bath so I did not. It was well located, quite near to Matlock Bath. The bed was comfortable and it was well decorated throughout. »

« I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay. »
