"Great breakfast, room was comfortable, bed comfortable, property pretty well maintained, though showing some wear. Staff was excellent and we enjoyed the free happy hour. Only downside was that while the location was convenient for public transit and some places we wanted to visit (voodoo donuts, Chinese garden, Saturday market), the surrounding neighborhood is rough, with an abundance of homeless people and urine scented streets. Not the fault of the property obviously."
