Kastellos Vacation Packages

This is a great resort! Nice staff, great rooms, nice pools. The food was excellent! The only thing we noticed were the ants. Many ants, and also in our room.

All the staff are very friendly. Resort felt very safe and the dining experience was great. We're vegetarians and we never left feeling hungry. Slot has to be booked for the steam room and sauna. Which is great, as you're not then sitting awkwardly with strangers. Loved all the personal touches.

This being our first trip to Crete, we were not sure what to expect. The hotel did not disappoint! I will start with the cons as they are short: A king bed is just two twins put together so not ideal for a couple and the mattress was a tad soft. That’s it for cons really, like I said short - a con/pro mix is for the food. We had breakfast and dinner as part of our package - the pro - tons of food available and they don’t skimp with what they put on your plate - small con is that some days the dinners could have used a little more variety. Now the pros- nice facility, excellent staff, housekeeping was prompt and efficient every day, tons of beach space and chairs ( not sure what it’s like in non-Covid situation). The best wifi coverage I’ve ever had at any hotel, it extended all the way down the beach with just a couple little black out areas. The surrounding area is great, very clean, lots of places to eat for lunch and buy gifts. We really hope to go back some day! Definitely recommend!!!

Amazing location and very comfortable rooms. Staff is nice, food is average, the spa has a lot of options and great service, the mini market is very handy and activities are great for people with small children. Would have been nice to have a bit more animation in the evening for grown ups, all inclusive cocktails are unfortunately really bad quality and we didn't like that you had to pay an extra for the premium option. Overall it's a good value for money option, but not really a 5 stars.
