Find hotels in Jordán from CA $31

The best area to stay in Jordán is within the village centre itself, particularly around the main square.

Jordán is a very small, historic village perched on a mountainside, and its "centre" encompasses most of the developed area. You'll find the main square, often called Parque Principal, at its heart. The village is characterised by its historic-era architecture, narrow cobblestone streets, and stunning views of the Chicamocha Canyon. Everything is within a short walk.

For couples seeking a quiet and romantic escape, staying in one of the guesthouses or small hotels directly overlooking the canyon offers an unforgettable experience. Imagine waking up to panoramic views and enjoying breakfast on a terrace as the sun rises over the vast landscape. The village itself offers little in terms of nightlife but provides a peaceful setting for reconnecting and enjoying the natural beauty.

Solo travellers looking for a genuine rural Colombian experience will appreciate staying near the main square. This allows easy access to the few local eateries and the chance to observe daily village life.

The best time to visit Jordán is during the dry season, which typically runs from December to March and again from July to August.

During these months, you'll experience pleasant weather with less rainfall, making it ideal for exploring the town and its natural surroundings. The clear skies and comfortable temperatures are great for outdoor activities like hiking the trails around the Chicamocha Canyon or simply enjoying a leisurely walk through the cobbled streets of Jordán.
