"Our room was not the best. Located on 2nd floor directly next to the bar. So no way to open curtains and loud at night and in the morning while staff is preparing for the day. "

"Staff were incredibly helpful and wonderful. The premier king room sizes vary greatly. We were originally put in one that was very small. They moved us to another one with a separate room / seating area and we were told it was the same type of room! So not worth the extra price unless you get a larger one. Elevator was out for part of the stay - hard to manage with a stroller going up and down stairs. Great location. Overall we had a fine stay."

"Absolutely loved this place. Welcoming the minute you walk in the door. Pool was a little cold but it was beautiful and there was a smaller one that was warmer. Hot tub was a little noisy with the pipes or something but it was still nice and hot. Had some drinks at the bar which were fine had a hamburger that was delicious. Our room was beautiful and had a very spacious bathroom and bathtub. Had a beautiful view of the harbor. We were celebrating our anniversary and this place did not disappoint! Big plus was a shuttle running into downtown Charleston and they had a great coffee machine with different coffees in the lobby which we would have every morning and evening. I cannot wait to return to this Resort we had an amazing time!"

"This was one of the nastiest places I have ever been to. I was very hopeful when placing my booking due to the pictures and reviews for this place. The pictures provided are false. Upon pulling up the place was completely ran down and disgusting to say the least. The front office reaked of weed, the smell was so strong. We booked an ADA room due to me being in a wheelchair. Once we got to the room, the room reaked of wet dog and a nasty odar. The room was very nasty and dirty, dirt all over the floors and bed. The bathroom was very nasty with dirt, mold and rust. There was homeless people walking around the facility along with people blasting very loud music. This place was inhumane to stay at."

"It's an average hotel that was close enough to downtown Charleston. Nothing was amazing but it was decent enough to stay for a couple nights. While the parking lot is self parked, they charge you $15/night. That was not transparent."

"Breakfast was very good and staff very accommodating. Happy each today was very enjoyable. Easy access to Visitor Center, Public transportation, restaurants and shopping."

"Terrific location-able to walk to almost all activities/sites. Valet parking was expensive but very responsive; never had to wait long for car. Hotel room was charming; enjoyed having a record player and a selection of records to play. Snack bar by elevators provided fresh fruit, coffee, tea, sparkling water 24 hours a day. Delicious brownie placed in room daily. Issue with nighttime noise from live music from wedding receptions right below our windows two nights in a row, but management handled it quickly and professionally. Pricey hotel but many nice features."
