"Stayed four nights for the New Orleans Book Festival. Easy one mile walk to Tulane campus. Charming mid century decor that tries to make up for the concrete block. Unheated swimming pool. Decent lobby coffee. Creaky elevator and leaky shower. View of hospital parking garage from balcony and loud industrial noises. Two blocks to restaurants and shops on Freret (try The Husky and Humble Bagel). Good choice if you prefer a neighborhood hotel, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again. "

The breakfast service was severely neglected; there was absolutely no one there to replenish the food, despite the fact that many families were waiting to be served. Overall, the service is very poor, especially considering how expensive the rooms are."
