"Very dissapointed with the room, i was sure i had booked a water view room, that is all that shows on the pictures. Told the reception girl and she was very snotty and jus5 said no u did not. We will never stay here again. Dirty tile in bath too. No kurerig coffee machine. No breakfast. $240 canadian dollars,really?👎"

"The staff we interacted with were great and the room was really clean. Unfortunately, that is all the positives we can really find. Our room was right on a walkway & by the parking area so you can hear anyone walking by or in the parking lot. The walls are so thin we could hear our neighbors using their microwave, talking and using the bathroom. There is no fan in the bathroom so showering was interesting because you could open the window for some ventilation but the blinds didn’t close all the way. This had us getting dressed outside of the bathroom which created another challenge. While the water view is nice we were in a ground floor room so we had people walking by our room on the beach/rock area just on the other side of our deck. We had to keep the curtains/blinds closed so we weren’t seen by the people walking by. Unfortunately, we won’t be staying here again."

"Kitchen in the cabins were small and not very functional. Wood stove was not intuitive as to adjusting the flue. Furniture was sparse and consisted of an uncomfortable sofa."

"This place has a great lake/mountain vacation vibe. I could almost feel the history of the place through the years and the many families and friends it has hosted. Food was great and was nice to make this a stop on our trip."

"The basic cabin was in excellent condition, the facilities for cooking and making drinks were more than adequate. At $78 a night, this was brilliant value for money. The beach was a few metres away just as advertised. The only downside was the communal shower block: I couldn’t get the one shower that was unlocked to work yesterday."
