« We had a wonderful stay at this property for our first Polar Express visit! The house was clean and well stocked, and the kids LOVED the snowman Christmas tree. The beds were comfortable, and we so enjoyed the hot tub, grill and fire pit. Not to mention the fireplace. It was perfect, and we hope to visit again next year! »

« Excellent place. Road to house is one lane gravel/dirt but easy to navigate. Just SLOW DOWN. Never ran across any vehicles coming from other direction but that could get dicey. And night driving may be a bear. But we enjoyed the location. Only caught one trout but had a great time. Highly recommend. »

« Stayed over Thanksgiving break 2025\. Best family trip ever! Cabin has everything you need. Hosts were gracious to have heat on when we arrived and firewood stocked. We took full advantage of the fireplace round the clock while we were there in 30 degree weather. Grabbed a great steak for the grill from Meat and Fish in Cashiers. Ate at Happ’s and The Local.Rode horses at Arrowmont. Hiked High Falls. Fished the dock- fished the public access from the cabin up to Tuckasegee. Cut down a Christmas...

« The cabin was absolutely adorable and comfortable. It was extremely well stocked—no need to bring anything really. We enjoyed the tranquility of the area and the cabin’s proximity to Sylva and Cherokee. We loved the Christmas decor and the giant Connect Four on the gorgeous porch. We really had such a relaxing Christmas weekend with our pups! We’re already planning on booking a group stay so we can check out Bryson City next time. »

« My family had the perfect long weekend at the Haven. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. We used all of the amenities provided. Everything was as described. The location is absolute serenity. We really enjoyed being an arm's length away from town. It put us closer to a lot of great hikes that we hadn't been able to explore in the area before. We also had one day of rain and spent the whole day in our PJs relaxing in the cabin, exploring new card games from their large selection....
