If you want to get a beautiful mountain view, you gotta climb some mountains. Mountain roads are typically gravel, steeper, narrower and curvier than you may be use to driving. This is all part of our charm. We do have one big hill to get up. It is gravel. We regularly drive a Hyundai Sonata up. While AWD vehicles make everything easier they are not required. Maintain an even speed (10mph) going up and you should have no issues. \*\*\*\*\*\*\*No refunds will be given due to weather.\*\*\*\*\* Items NOT provided: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, items of a personal nature. This is our second time staying at this cabin. It is right off highway 74 so you can get anywhere in the Smokies in a few minutes to 45 minutes. The area is beautiful but there is some highway noise but you can’t have a quick get away and not have some highway noise. All in all a great and enjoyable stay we highly recommend this cabin. ##### James G. My daughter was staying at KOA in Cherokee and it was full so this was about 25 minute drive to the KOA. The view was beautiful. Loved the privacy and the Hot Tub! Highly Recommend. ##### Nancy C. The cabin was lovely, everything we could have asked for! Everything is private and you have everything you need just like being at home and that was great! We will be visiting again soon!The only too things would be nice is to have firewood provided and to have a little softer bed! But everyone if different when it comes to soft/firm and so forth! We stayed at another cabin nearby before we came here. You can tell they put more thought and effort in making the place nice. The property is located on the side of a mountain with a view of a river and the highway, so nice!! This was a very welcoming and clean cabin!! We will definitely be back!!
