The Cabin is nestled in to the side of a hill hidden from the main road which gave us privacy and peacefulness. We enjoyed the copious fireflies in the evening, the birds in the morning, and a few bunnies which hopped across the lawn. The accomodations were generous and comfortable. The management company kept us informed of power outages in the area which did not affect us, but was comforting to know that they were looking out for our comfort and safety. Tons of cobwebs, piles of dirt/dust/trash under the one recliner. Bathtub was filthy and had mold in jets. Cockroaches outnumbered us 20:1\. The refrigerator was very loud and ran almost continuously. Not to our standards, I don’t like to go on vacation and downgrade. We left a day early, they aggressively refused any refund because we didn’t allow them to “make it right”. It was private but only about 10 minutes from Cherokee. Our only complaint is the driveway. Although paved, it is very steep and had a mound of dirt and rocks at the end of it. The turn to park in front of the cabin was also also challenging. All of these factors made it dangerous to enter on a motorcycle.
