Had a wonderful relaxing time at this rural guesthouse. The private onsen in the room was so convenient and you could use it at anytime. I enjoyed conversing with the owner and look forward to visiting again in the future.

If you want a traditional Japanese Ryokan experience, this is it. With two onsens ensuite, one outdoor one indoor and large rooms with a beautiful garden, and a reasonable price, it’s hard to beat. 11-min walk from the station is worth it.

This hotel is as good as it gets in terms of all categories. Views of UNESCO sites, amazing accommodations, and great food and service. Perfect for a couples trip if you want a quiet retreat.

Beautiful surroundings, service was lovely. Peaceful and serene. Food was beautifully prepared. It would be nice to have a little more direction in how to actually take part in Japanese style bathing for those of us less familiar but there were other patrons around who helped acquaint me with things.

Firm but comfortable beds, clean, good shower, enjoyed the breakfast which was filling, fun to use the outdoor onsen, very close to the beach, fun to wear the supplied kimonos.
