"Room was clean & comfortable. Steps from Minnis Bay beach & short walk into Birchington. Stayed one night but should have stayed 2 do I could have walked more of the coastal path! Lovely 1 night break!"

"Birchington-on-Sea is a small seaside town with a pleasant beach at Minnis Bay overlooking the Thames Estuary and the Reculver Towers further up the coast where the bouncing bombs were tested. There are a number of buildings from the interwar period or inspired by them but the jewel in the crown is the Twentieth Century Bed and Breakfast. The owners, Kat and Spencer are true aficionados of the period and is demonstrated by their commitment to the renovation of the property and the interior...

"Absolutely cannot fault anything whatsoever. Responsive, proactive, clear instructions & the photos matched the facilities. Clean, comfortable & spacious. Would recommend The Powell public house in Birchington if you are either passing through to visit family & friends or just want somewhere to stay after a long walk along the many seaside promenades. Everything was within easy reach for me which was essential & I will be recommending my stay to my family and friends. Thank you so much...
