Brilliant accommodations. A totally 5 star experience from our first greeting, through a tour of the first floor with beautiful comfortabe common rooms (fire place lit in the cool evening in one), a very well appointed dining area that served a chef prepared breakfast - my wife and I both ordered the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs - delicious. Close to Inverness, right on Loch Ness, and a few km from highland cows! A total treat - my highest recommendation.

Ness walk was lovely. The staff were very friendly. A great hotel close to everything Inverness!

Highly recommended. We only stayed one night and would definitely have enjoyed another night. Outstanding historical building, beautiful garden, cute Scottish cows in the field. Room and washroom was spacious with view over the field. Dinner was excellent. Staff were helpful and clearly enjoy their jobs.

The Cambeth Lodge was a short walk from Inverness’s city centre, which was perfect for finding places to eat. It’s about an hour drive from the far end of Loch Ness, at Fort Augustus, which makes exploring the lake easy, and it’s close to other historical sites of interest in Culloden and Fort George. The units are accessible by key and key fob and it’s a quiet place to stay in the area.

Really a nice quiet location with fantastic views of the loch. Check in was a breeze, room as advertised. Great host. Thanks

Our host Megan was amazing and communication was excellent. The property was perfect and clean. Thank you for the welcome, we felt like home. Ps. Best shower in Scotland for us all. 😊

Really nice people and clean room!

The owners, Sheila and Alan were excellent hosts. We were spoiled in their lovely guesthouse. So many breakfast choices. The setting is quiet and peaceful. The room was large and super clean. They have thought of everything! Large selection of in room teas and coffees, biscuits, hot chocolate, tea cakes. A fridge with water, oranges and Coke. A white noise machine, a smart speaker. It certainly was a beautiful home away from home. Tastefully decorated with beautiful Scottish ceramic...

A warm welcome from Rach and a comfortable and cozy room. Excellent dinner recommendations and a courtesy shuttle from the Loch Ness Inn made dining easy allowing a glass of wine with dinner. Very comfortable bed in the Mary Queen of Scots room and a wonderful Scottish breakfast and terrific conversation with Mark.

Excellent service. And I loved the deep history of the building.

Great comfortable option in a convenient location!

Great location, super clean, wonderfully communicative hosts.. highly recommend!

An absolute gem; what we'd imagined an upscale highland hotel could be. Fabulous room (we stayed in a deluxe) that had a great king bed, an outdoor private patio that was a literal breath of fresh air - with the sounds of birds in the evening, and others in the morning. Bathroom was spacious, with lovely big towels. The pub was warm, the dinner very tasty, and the breakfast (included) was healthy and fresh. This is a must for a couple looking for a quiet comfortable stay; and it's just in the...

Was in Inverness for business, the train station is only 10 minutes walk from there, same with bus drop off from the airport. The site is wonderful with fabulous restaurants and likely the best view of the Loch Ness River you can find. Only one little hiccup is this is not a regular hotel with a lobby, so you need to make arrangements to get your keys, which is often just next door at a restaurant waiting for you with your name on them with instructions. We loved this great apartment. Good job!

After a long drive from Edinburgh, this was a great place to land in Inverness. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The location was convenient for visiting various sites and we thoroughly enjoyed our time!
