Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Good location, plenty of parking, helpful staff
Room a bit faded
Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely property and very close to Inverness town centre yet slightly removed so as not to be in hustle and bustle.
Lovely old hotel with all modern conveniences. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The free onsite parking is a bonus if you rent a car for touring the surrounding area. Inverness is a terrific hub for the east side of the Highlands, and the Beaufort is an ideal base, also within short walking distance of the city centre. Recommended: book breakfast in advance for a better deal.
We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our trip to Inverness! The hotel is very quaint and charming, and the location was perfect. Everyone was so helpful and nice. Wish we could have extended our stay!!
Staff were exceptionally helpful and fun. Highlight of our trip - Jonathan!!!

Liked: Staff & service
The room was relatively clean. The staff were very helpful. On Fridays/ Saturdays there may be events and in my case there was. I am an early sleeper and I was waiting out the music to be done at 11:30.
It’s convenient to have a restaurant on site and the food was ok.
A lovely hotel! We had plenty of space (we are a family of 2 adults & 2 teens), our room was tastefully decorated with lots of storage. The dining room was lovely and the food was delicious. Would love to stay again.
A nice stay at the lovely Beaufort Hotel. The food was excellent and so were the cocktails! Although a couple of vegan options are needed on the menu. All the Staff were very helpful, especially Isla.
Overall we had a great weekend stay.
The Chief Chambers Suite is exquisite! Comfy king size bed plus pull out sofa chairs for my son. Elegant furnishings. Gorgeous bathroom with jacuzzi tub and oversized rainfall shower. Staff is friendly and helpful.
The bed was horribly uncomfortable. A tiny, squishy double bed with a huge dip in the middle. Restaurant was good for a Scottish dinner but breakfast was very expensive so we did not eat breakfast there. Room was clean but quite cramped.
We didn’t make use of the facilities, except for breakfast one morning. Staff were very helpful in organising a refund as we had paid twice through a miscommunication between our agent, the hotel and ourselves. The room was clean. The bed was a little too firm for us. Restaurants ,pubs etc were within walking distance . Free parking was available onsite. We stayed in the royal room. It had obviously had an upgrade from the advertised photos I saw on an agent website. It no longer had a spa bath, it just had a normal bath. Which was a little disappointing as it was why we booked the room. The room had lost the romantic vibe the previous decor gave it.
Clean, boutique hotel. The room was small as expected. The highlight was the bar which gave us somewhere to relax at the end of the day. Breakfast was good.
Staff was friendly, but they are stretched thin. At night, one person managed the registration desk and the bar. In the morning, I think it was 1 or 2 people managing breakfast and the registration desk (not counting maintenance and kitchen staff).
The staff was friendly, but not necessarily knowledgeable about common tourist destinations.
Having a restaurant and bar on site was very helpful when getting in late. Staff was very helpful and fun (Jonathan and Isley). Good selection of whiskey and our room was very fancy. No mini-fridge and the most expensive place we stayed on our trip but it was great and we'd go back. Free parking is a bonus.
Nice hotel conveniently located about 200m from the Inverness Castle. Old style, very tight spaces. Bathroom was newly renovated and fully functional. Parking on the back. You can easily walk to the city center and the main attractions in town. Good base for exploring the area around Inverness (I went for hiking). No frills however, and the breakfast is not very good. No elevator, and stairs are a bit steep. But bed is very comfortable, bathroom is fine. Staff and the manager are very nice and helpful. Overall is a good choice, but be prepared to receive only the basic services.
