"Well located on the main highway and close to shopping and restaurants. Property seems to be brand new and rooms were well equipped - even with a surprise fridge not listed in the amenities. A “middle of the road” hot breakfast was offered and staff was friendly and helpful. Great 3 night stay while attending a ceremony at Pax River Naval Air Station."

"Before I arrived, my cousin, who is local, asked me where I was staying. When I told her, she made a face and told me this was not a good choice. She was right. The room was terrible. Had a strong, unpleasant odor, looked like it was painted by an angry 6 year old and the furniture looked like somebody put it in the room at the last minute. It was the kind of room where you keep a light on and check the bedding carefully beforehand. My room was at the top of the stairs (no elevator, apparently), unfortunately there were two crackheads in the next room playing loud music until 5 am or so. The free breakfast was a joke. After reviewing what little was available, I settled for McDonalds on my way to my next stop. I would not stay there again."

"I was very surprised at the horrible conditions of this hotel. I've stayed at Holiday Inn Express before it was a very nice experience. However, this DC East Andrew's AFB hotel is not good. The carpets in the hallways were smelly and dirty, and the room's carpeting was no different. The room smelled moldy, and the refrigerator did not work, so I had to call for maintenance. They fixed it immediately because I had to step out. But when I returned to the room to relax for the evening, I sat on the bed and it sank to one side. I checked it and noticed that the baseboard was broken. Needless to say, I was not pleased. I immediately contacted the front desk to request another room. Thankfully, they were able to get me another room. I'm already booked for two nights at this hotel, but I will be very reluctant to book at another IHG hotel again."
