"We've stayed here twice and this is really nice for the price. The airport is surprisingly quiet. Good coffee and pretty good selection for breakfast location is great for downtown. "

"Absolutely wonderful vacation with my extended family (10 humans and 2 dogs). The house is perfect with 6 BRs (5 of them with King Beds) and 4 full bathrooms. It was super clean and the kitchen has all the items you need to cook for large groups. The large front and back yards are perfect for the dogs to run around. The dock is well suited for a rental boat and the cove that the house is located is quiet and serene. We enjoyed fires at the fire pit almost every night. We loved this property and would definitely rent again. Highly recommend for large extended families! "

"My family (children and grandchildren) enjoyed the house for the 2nd year in a row. SML has become our favorite summer destination. It is a beautiful property in a great location. We rented a boat and wave runners for the week but as we travelled with little children the pool is a necessity. I do highly recommend this rental if you are visiting SML just leave me a week in August! Thanks for sharing your amazing home Dennis and Mary Ann"

"We were dropping our son off for college and stayed at the Lynchburg Grand. It was nice and quiet. Staff was nice and everything was clean. There isn’t any housekeeping, so you will need to stop by for extra towels. As long as that doesn’t bother you, this is a great place to stay! "

"The lodge is older, but very clean with nice beds and linens. I do miss a fridge and microwave in the rooms, but the restaurant staff were very accommodating to provide hot water for my tea. The beauty surrounding the lodge is unbeatable. Love the chairs outside to sit and enjoy the quiet beauty of the lake and Sharp Top. Such a peaceful place! We enjoyed hiking on the many trails right here. Hope to come back!!"

"So much attention to detail. Our cabin was pet friendly and they included a small trash can outside for pet waste, waste pick up bags and wipes and pet water bowls. The beautiful porch had a gate which was completely secure for our pet so we could all hang out together without worry. It had enough paper products, including paper plates, bowls, towels, toilet tissue, Kleenex for our 3 day stay. The bathroom included shampoo, conditioner and lotion and the shower had good water pressure and a nozzle that was removable.The bed was comfortable. However, the queen sheets we brought to cover the queen bed did not fit, probably due to the depth of the mattress so I would bring king sheets next time.There were games, books and tv for your rainy day entertainment.But mostly, it was a lovely, clean cabin on a quiet cove on the lake, with it's own private dock and breathtaking views. "

"We had an amazing stay at this property for our summer vacation. It’s nice to find a home that is updated and clean in this neighborhood! The upstairs are with the kitchen, dining room, and tv are leading out to the porch was the best place to hang out with everyone. This view of the mountain and waterfront is one of the best on the lake! Definitely returning here! We really enjoyed our time on the dock and the access to the paddle board, kayaks, and canoe was really nice. We rented a boat and had plenty of space to tie it to the dock. We look forward to returning! "
