"Ataraxia is a peaceful and beautiful place hidden between jungle and sea. Saw plenty of wild life both on land and at sea. The food was delicious and the owners and staff always teady to go the extra mile to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Would come back a hundred times if i could. "An amazing stay, facilitated by fabulous hosts. The hosts began communicating about our upcoming stay several weeks in advance to arrange transportation to the property. We were met at the airport and taken to the lodge. The jungle house is very nice, well equipped with internet, kitchen, fan, full screen for an open air experience. Each morning and afternoon we were greeted by the sounds of birds. Unless you travel to another island you are limited to preparing your own dinner, or enjoying the reasonably priced and delicious selections each evening at the lodge. The provided breakfasts were wonderful, and reasonably priced upgrades are available. The hosts were always available, and it was quick and easy to communicate via WhatsApp. Arranging dinner, water taxi rides or excursions. Depending upon your room location there can be a number of stairs. Internet works okay, but would not be great if you need consistent high speed. Why would you want to be on the internet working, rather than enjoying the island life. LTE phone service is consistent. The screens and fan keep the room comfortable. Taxi’s to other islands are $5 to $10 per person each way. We enjoyed the quiet and natural feeling of this island, and traveled on excursions daily. We can’t wait to return! "
