"I think everything about the accommodation was perfect. However, since it was the low season, we went to the front desk of the Hermit Hotel to check in. There were four staff members at the counter, but only two computers were available for use. As a result, we had to wait a long time. Moreover, there was no clear queuing system, and three families cut in line directly in front of us. Although we raised this issue with the front desk, they told us we still had to wait behind them, which made me feel very unfair.

"Fantastic stay in beautifully clean and well maintained delux treehouse. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Also had really good pizza at their restaurant. "
"The Aoraki Alpine Lodge was a pleasant place to spend a few days. I arrived in the later afternoon and was greeted by the kind staff and immediately felt welcome. They even have a mini store with everything from eggs to milk to deodorant and toothpaste so if you forget anything or want to make food, they have a small selection for purchase.
My room was at the end of the hall and the views of the mountains were unreal.
The room had the essentials and just down the hall was a large kitchen with 3 stoves and 3 sinks, a plethora of cooking utensils and all that one could need when working in the kitchen.
There was a nice dining area and couches where you could see the mountains without any obstructions.
The rooms were not 100% soundproof but I had no trouble sleeping at night and the noise levels were decently quiet.
The shower was just separated by a curtain next to the toilet but it was nice pressure and got warm very fast.
Overall, it was well worth the money, with trails a walkable distance, as well as restaurants, cafes, and bars at the nearby hotel, there was no lack. "
"Eddy from Front desk, was extremely professional and friendly.
Our housekeeper on first 3 days was professional and friendly (sorry didn’t get her name)
This was our third stay at the resort.
Next time, want to try the Cook Suite.
Like to see a bathtub in plus suites. I would pay more.
The shower (water) pressure in room was low.
(useless)
Not water saving if it takes you 10-15 mins for a shower - if you want us to take 2-5 mins.
Thank you for a wonderful stay."
"Thw property was clean and quiet. The staff on arrival were great and the room was pre-warmed which was lively after a day exploring the area. Food recommendations from staff werenspotnon amazing. Would 100% stay again."
