"The property was beautiful. I would entertain staying in a different room, but we did not have a bathroom in our room so we had to walk across the way in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. You could hear every conversation and the unit above us was very loud. Just be ready for a 530am or 6am wake up call."

"Beautiful property, great location. On site bar/restaurant is wonderful, with plenty of options (get the chicken wings and the Lava Flow) and local live entertainment that doesn't disppoint!! The pools and hot tub is very nice and spacious. Parking can be a bit tight but the amenities and room sizes def are worth the walk. Will be back next year!!"

"We stayed at the Kona Islander Vacation club for a week during our family vacation. If you are looking for a tropical vacation spot that is affordable and within walking distance of shopping and restaurants this is it. The condos were clean, and the property is well maintained. We use the pool on hot tub just about every night, it was a great way to end the day. The grounds are very relaxing there. We had one minor thing happen. When we arrived the air conditioner to our condo kept turning itself off every 20 seconds which made our condo very hot.. So I called the number that was given to us and maintenance came up and they fix the problem. Other than that, we didn’t have any major issues with the condo. If you want your towels and toilet paper or trash bags refurbished, you just have to call them and leave a message and they bring it up to you that day. The kitchen had a refrigerator and a microwave and toasters and coffee pot, it also came with all the dishes that you needed plates cups silverware all those things as well. And paper towels. The only other thing to mention is that parking can be an issue. They have 100 parking spots. But there is 150 units. So if you arrive a little later towards the day, the parking spots will be full so they ask you to park up there by the street where the gravel area is. And sometimes that was full as well. So a couple of times we had to park down the street. We would definitely stay there again."

"This hotel is more than its excellent views, oceanside restaurant, incredible staff, and close proximity to downtown’s vibrant life. This is a place where I did not feel like a tourist. I felt like someone who belonged. There is nothing artificial about this place. Everything feels authentic, wholehearted, well-meaning, and genuinely welcoming. I never feel like I am simply checking in when I come here. I feel like I am stopping by somewhere my face is remembered after only a two-day visit — and where the prices are just as welcoming. In a world where so many places feel designed only to impress, this one somehow manages to feel human first. That is rare, and it is something people remember long after the ocean view fades into memory."
