« The villa was extremely clean, well stocked with pantry staples and appliances (rice cooker, four choices for making coffee, plenty of pots and pans and cooking utensils, and a beautiful outdoor grill). The unit is nicely maintained and was extremely comfortable for the three of us. Kolea is a very nice resort with a lovely pool and hot tub and a path to the beach. This particular villa is well situated - an easy walk to the pool and to the shops, etc., but not on the main road. The host was...

« What a comfortable place. It’s roomy with a large patio too. Lots of amenities, coffee & filtered water. The washer and dryer are nice. It’s walking distance to all the shops and great restaurants. There’s even a small beach you can walk to. Try Papa Kona’s great views and awesome bartender. We had beautiful sunset dinner at Kai’s. Will definitely be back! Kris is a great host. Is quick to respond with any questions. »

« This place had everything that we needed. The communal BBQs were great to use, especially the ones along the beach where you could watch the sunset. The laundry within the unit was so helpful (laundry soap provided). The location is a short drive (or walk) to great beaches and farmers markets. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing that I wished it had was a little laundry line on the deck to hang beach towels since you can't have them along the railing and there is limited spots...

« The unit & location suited our purpose but lacked a dishwasher, properly functioning AC, little things like coffee filters, a cleaning sponge to properly clean pots & pans, glasses & utensils for 4 people which was the advertised capacity , a warning sign at the entry light switch turns off the internet modem as well as only 1 lamp in the living room, kitchen utensils that were actually functional rather than becoming wet noodles when you tried to use them, a citrus juicer »

"Very nice place. All new, clean and the room was SO spacious. The pool is amazing for the kids especially. The pool restaurant was perfect but Piko for dinner was more average. The emplacement of the resort is a bit far from the action (Kona town) so you really need a car. Having said that, our 4 nights was perfect and I would got back. "
