Friendly staff and good wifi connection. if you need anything or are unsure of any matter, do approach the staff as they are extremely helpfula dn friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. well worth its price!!

Bad experience!
1. Didn't inform you that they may hold your passport at reception until vacate your room. one of my friend who stay along with me (separate room) is got panic about this! 2. Bed cover never change whole week 3. About drink, we didn't took anything from hotel fridge but they ask us to pay. 4. Laundry, only wash but no press! didn't inform us about this in early 5. Breakfast - worst had in my life. Limited items and one person can order one! Its not like buffet system!! 6. A/c fit at entrance of room, will take time to fulfill your room after 15 minutes to get your liked temp. Service is not worth what I paid for this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good bye to Hong Vina Hotel in Future

Don’t keep their words!
Everything was good. I called before booking this place asking if there was luggage storage. They told me yes. When it came to the time I needed the storage, manager said he needs to charged us by days. Before they said it’s free then said they want money from us! They only stored it outside in the front lobby! Was praying the whole time nothing will happen to my luggage!

Definitely not a 3.5 star hotel, more like 2 star
I booked this hotel expecting 3.5 star hotel, it most certainly should not be considered 3.5 stars, I would say it is a 2 star hotel. The room was tiny, writing and water stains on the walls, VERY noisy, sounded like there was construction going on constantly around us but there wasn't. The breakfast was the worst I've seen in my 2 weeks of staying in hotels in Vietnam, you are limited to one small item for breakfast, that is it, they literally will not let you eat anything else that your one item, I would prefer to go pay for food somewhere else. We got a few items of clothing washed from the hotel and they tried to make us pay for 8lbs of laundry! It was maybe 2lbs at most. We actually booked a different hotel for our last night in Ho Chi Minh and are just forfeiting the money we paid for the last night at this hotel because I can not stay here any longer.

Reflects the price, you get what you pay for.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was satisfactory (coffee was awful!), the bed was comfortable, and though the bed and bathroom were clean, our room had alot of mould on the walls. Time for a do-up I think!!! Basically I think this hotel reflected the price. If you are looking for a cheap hotel you won't be dazzled by high quality. Also the wi-fi was very slow.

The Hotel location is very good for exploring HCMC District 1, the hotel is comfortable and clean, very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is also good and the dinning room very clean.

Very nice rooms
Rooms are very nice. Staff was very nice and helpful for the most part. Short walk to a lot of nightlife. I did get a little weirded out when they accused me of stealing the hairdryer from my room upon checkout, but they dropped their case pretty fast, not sure what that was about. I would still consider staying here again because the room was pretty nice and the location is pretty good.

Overpriced but in a somewhat central area
The hotel stay was average and I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. The first night we were told our room was unavailable and got a family room which was horrible. There were water stains shown on the walls with plastic bars on the windows. We were going to go to another place if our room qasnt ready the next day but thankfully they switched us, with some issues to do so nonetheless. The breakfast was good though and service for it was excellent. I would recommend continuing to look at other hotels in the area as this one was over priced but was in a somewhat central area.

Lousy Hotel
Bad Experience. reception gave wrong info on a night market far away in D10. He was so sure that it was open, but when we reach it had closed already, and we had to pay 170K just to get back from a ghost town area. He was so rude when I confronted him at the reception claiming he is not wrong. This is not the worst. Halfway while showering the shower spoilt and there was no water. I was force to use cup to fill water as it was 3 am in the morning . I was so angrey as I was full of soap not knowing what to do as I slept alone in the room. While my friends are asleep on a different floor. I swear that I will never ever stay in this horrible place again. Please DO NOT book this hotel, worst ever.!!!!

The area is convenient and the rooms are quiet, which is a nice oasis, but the room is a bit of a concrete box. The breakfast left a bit to be desired. They do NOT have a safe in the room as is listed, and they ask to keep your passport at the front desk upon check-in. One staff member was very sweet, but another smelled like alcohol when he finally came to the desk.

Ho Chi Minh Stopover
We stayed in this hotel for a quick stopover when we landed in Vietnam before we headed to Hanoi. The check in process was easy and the staff were friendly. The location of the hotel was easy to find and was close to the day and night markets. The room was decent for what we paid for it, although the hotel could use a few repairs and upgrades. The breakfast was not good, so I would suggest skipping it and finding a nice bakery. A taxi from the airport cost about $7.00 USD (9.00 CAD).

Pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of the room. For a budget hotel it was quite nice. Everything worked (though I did have some wi-fi connectivity issues) and the Bathroom was clean and modern. Very close to Ben Thanh and all the hustle and bustle......but reasonably quiet at night.

Great location!
Warm welcome and the staff were very accommodating. Try to pick the street side if you can.....no Roosters to wake you up at 6:00am. A/C works great. Laundry in back alley right behind hotel. Close to the Market and within walking distance to all tourist attractions.

It was a nice trip but there were a night neighbor door lock got issue and keep alert till midnight. Sometime neighbor have bang the door with no reason. But their bed was great compare to others hotel I have stayed before.

Very good value for money
We were upgraded on arrival and got a family room which was spacious and clean. Breakfast was ok with fresh fruit and cereal as well as a cooked meal of choice. Location is about five minutes from Ben Than market, staff was very helpful and friendly.

First of all the rooms were as advertised, no bait and switch here. That is important. Next, great location. Close to the main throughfare yet quiet and cozy. Interior of the hotel is very new and clean and so is the bathroom. WiFi speed is good. I will stay there on my next visit.

Great staff and value in convenient location
Lovely staff, very clean rooms and great location near Ben Thanh Market made this a good stay for my purposes. Only detractors was the air conditioning didn't keep the room quite cool enough in heat of the day, and the restaurant was actually only a basic breakfast. But given the price I still found it a very good value. And did I mention the great staff?
