"The property itself is very nice and located in a quiet, upscale suburban neighborhood. The espresso machine was a particularly nice touch. However, our stay was marred by a lack of proactive communication and privacy issues.Upon arrival, we found minor landscaping renovations occurring in both the front and back yards. We were not notified about this in advance but the host did provide an explanation after I reached out to ask about people walking around the house and yard. The sauna looks great in photos, but couldn't heat up past 50C (122F) on a mild day, making it unusable for an actual sauna experience.The most jarring moment of our stay occurred when an older woman unexpectedly walked right into the kitchen through a side door. This dispelled any belief that we had privacy in home. It appears she lives in a downstairs in-law suite and was perhaps caught off-guard that we were home, but it was an uncomfortable intrusion.If you are looking for total privacy and seamless communication, you may want to clarify boundaries with the host."

"This property was grossly misrepresented. The positives are the location (walk to the Yonge+Weldrick bus stop, take the bus to Finch, and the train to Union Station), and shopping nearby (Walmart and Tim Horton's within walking distance). The shower was decent though the shower spray holder was falling off and the toilet seat had a loose bolt. The negatives are many. First and foremost, the room was extremely small and poorly appointed. No sheets on the bed - just matress cover and a comforter. Two towels - no washcloths or hand towels. Second, the desk and side tables barely fit and were old and beat up. The bathroom was very small. More importantly, the laundry facility was outside the room and shared by 5 rooms. The kitchen was also outside the room and shared. There was a small food prep table, nowhere to sit and enjoy a meal - not even outside. The room amenities were misrepresented. But there is more. The rooms were poorly sound insulated, so you could hear everything. The bed was very soft and worn out IMHO. People shared space in the refrigerator, and there were barely enough utensils to have a meal with - just a bunch of random plates, pots, pans and silverware. And the ants... there were ants everywhere including crawling across the bed. When I pointed this out to the cleaning lady, she mumbled something about the owners and did nothing about it. This property is apparently a house that was converted into 5 rental rooms in a residential neighborhood."

"Absolutely beautiful neighbourhood. Safe, quiet but close enough to main roads. Able to do our own thing (self check-in, private entry). Host was very friendly via the chat app and appreciative of feedback about small details that would have made us more comfortable (more towels/toiletries, blinds or curtains for more privacy). We pretty much only slept there, didn’t cook or stay in the unit much. Would stay here again! "

"We had a wonderful stay at this property! The place was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.The space was very comfortable and had everything we needed, making us feel right at home. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the overall cleanliness.Parking was a huge plus—there was enough space for up to 4 cars, which made our trip so much more convenient. The location is also great, with plenty of restaurants and food options nearby, making it very easy to grab a meal anytime.Thank you again for hosting us—we would definitely love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area! "

"The property was very clean. Host was responsive. Kitchen was equipped but couldn’t find a cutting board. Although coffee and tea was provided, preferred sealed items like keureg pods, sealed tea bags, sugar, no creamers provided etc. The Wide angle photos gave a perception of wider spaces. The one negative thing was the piping in the property was very loud, especially in the basement suite was very noisy. Every shower or flushing was loud. The property was located in a good area, very convenient to highways. There was only one tv and that was in the living room. It would have been nice to have a few more, especially when traveling with kids. Other than that it was a nice stay."
