"Excellent place to stay. Very tidy place. An special thanks to Anna who was helpful in my travel matters. I had and early departure and she took care of that with the kitchen staff for a cold breakfast. 100% recommended for families solo as I was and food in the tavern was very delicious home made Greek food. Bravo !!!"

"Wish I could have rated my stay at the Diouskouri. Our reservation was made over two days in advance of our attempted check in. After many phone calls to the manager who was somewhere in Iraklion while we were in the hotel lobby, we were told to check in at the hotel down the road. The substitute hotel lacked hot water, a decent internet connection and one of the main ceiling lights didn't work. The substitute hotel was not a three star but we paid three star rates. Not a repeat."

"The customer service at the front desk was exceptional! He helped us navigate the busses and store our luggage after check out. The room itself was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We were able to do self check which was perfect because our flight did not land until almost 1am.
