"Hotel Sofia is a very nice, well appointed hotel near the airport. Some late afternoon aircraft noise, but no problem overnight. On a side street so quiet, but only 100yds to public transport to city. Also a range of shops and eateries in same area. Pool area good. Breakfast had a good selection. Would recommend. Staff very friendly and helpful."

If you are like us and do not often experience people waiting on you hand and foot it’s a surreal experience but something that makes the trip So amazing. The dining experience - just WOW! Food I have never tasted to be so amazing! Always have the lamb medium rare you won’t regret it. Welcome drinks on arrival and they let you enjoy everything how you want to not how they expect you too. "This is a recently renovated old hotel. It still has that grand hotel ambience. It's a little off the city center but is still quite easy to walk to all the things you want to see or eat. The sea view is actually a view of the ferry port, so that's not much. The breakfast is excellent. Overall, it's quite nice. "
