"The floor left my child’s feet black, the tub was stained rust colored on the bottom, paint was peeling off a board on top of the tv & tv was snowy, lots of flies in the room. Maid didn’t come the first day so we didn’t have clean towels. Bed was super uncomfortable & headboards were dirty. My key didn’t work when we came back after a day out. The room looked nothing like the pictures. No problems with workers tho they were decent."

"Overall an okay stay, dirty floors but the bed felt great. We booked because they had a breakfast buffet available. I came down to get some and bring it up to my sleeping boyfriend, and at the elevator two female staff stopped me and said "You're not allowed to bring breakfast up. Other people are asking because of you" which is such a weird and rude way to phrase it... they never told me this rule at check in, if it was written anywhere I missed it clearly. Waited a minute for my boyfriend to hopefully come down but my text didn't wake him, the whole time one of the women is watching me like a hawk seeing if I'll bolt to the elevator. Just a bizarre interraction that could have gone much more professionally. Oddest thing is, at night people were ordering food. So it's not that food isn't allowed in the rooms, just their breakfest buffet... okay? We paid a little more specifically to have breakfast so this was a real bummer. We'll go somewhere else next time, not a La Quinta. But again the stay was fine enough otherwise so I can't say we were ripped off. Just... a weird thing."

"Firstly, there was no sign for comfort inn and number provided in the email was from quality inn not for comfort inn. We got the number from another comfort inn hotel for the location where we go and nobody answered the phone. Room was ok… AC is not working properly. Staff was not able to answer anything"

Newly remodeled 3-bedroom house in delightful Harvey, near new Wind Creek casino

10/10 Excellent

"House was clean, host was great, appliances are all brand new. Floors are a bit warped but not an issue for us. Check-in was unique I'd never met the homeowner in person before but process was seamless. The upstairs could use a fan, it gets warm up there. House is really large and has plenty of space for a larger group we had 5 total, wish there was an extra couch or something to sleep on as there are only 3 beds but the kids made it work. Location is about 25 minutes from downtown Chicago, it's significantly cheaper to stay in this area than downtown. Neighborhood is quiet and we had a great time. Would recommend"

"Stayed 5 nights. Only 2 nights I was able to sleep through the night. Night 1, woman yelling in hallway and her kids were running and screaming at 2:30am. Night 2, neighbors and kids were in the hallway talking loud and digging through bags with Styrofoam boxes in them. Night 4, neighbor was in and out of their room ALL NIGHT, they had the latch flipped to prop door open and the door shut hard causing it to bounce off the latch eache time they came in and out. The also had their music on phone at full volume. Back door did not lock, so they put a latch and pad lock on the door, which to me is a huge fire hazard. Hallways smelled of weed and cigarettes, despite being a smoke free building. Staff was nice. First room assigned was still being cleaned. Second room assigned was decent."
