"the breakfast bar is the best I have ever had while staying at a hotel Rooms were very clean and nicely freshened up every day the elevators could use a little freshening up did not like smelling marijuana in the halls"

"We stayed for 2 nights in a king suite. We enjoyed the pool twice however we did see a cockroach in the pool room crawling out of the grates- we did not see any bugs in our room though. The front desk staff woman was not helpful at all- she sat at the desk on the phone with a friend every time we saw her. There was a water dispenser in the lobby that was 100% within view of this woman. The water dispenser was empty 75% of the time when we were entering/exiting the hotel. I even asked her if there was a way to get more water, and she directed me to the water fountain down the hall rather than refilling the water dispenser. She seemed very lazy and uninterested in helping anyone."

Food and Breakfast:** The breakfast was superb, with a distinct Southern Virginia touch that felt comforting and refined at the same time. I enjoyed Virginia ham for breakfast, and it truly took me to heaven—rich, savory, and perfectly prepared. The menu felt both fresh and thoughtfully curated. Staff and Service:** The staff were outstanding, delivering Southern charm with professionalism and warmth. Each interaction felt personalized, attentive, and genuinely friendly.
