Great value for money hotel. Staff were great and very friendly. Helped me book a tour to Ha Long Bay. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. Only downside was there was some construction next door which could be noisy at times.

We booked this property as it mentioned a gym, but it seems the gym had been removed. The pool isn’t big enough to actually swim in either. Good location to walk into the old quarter, with an easy route through. Staff were really helpful and friendly.

Quynh Nguyen was wonderful and professional

The staff were wonderful, very attentive and friendly. Bed though a little firm was huge and comfortable. There was building work next door which would sometimes be distracting. Breakfast was underwhelming lots of choice but hot food was very dry and rubbery. WiFi was very hit and miss on 3rd floor.

Lovely staff who greeted you every time you came in and went out. The room was nice - we had a balcony but the weather wasn’t quite up to using it. The hotel is on a busy street at the front and Hanoi traffic is crazy so if you are a light sleeper you may want some ear plugs. This is not the hotel’s problem but worth being aware of. Breakfast is nice and plentiful and was included in my booking.

The bed was spacious and reasonably comfortable. The location was really good too. But the room was a bit grotty; the cups by the sink still had toothpaste on from the last visitors, and the showerhead was covered in limescale. Our room faced the road so had a lot of noise from the traffic, but also the lights on the front of the building to light up the sign created quite a lot of light pollution in the room. We were also put in their second building, two or three buildings down from the hotel, so we had to go outside and back in the other building to get breakfast or visit the pool.

Not a 4 star hotel

Not a 4 star hotel. There is no pool, there are no bathtubs/jacuzzis in the hotel. The photos doesn't match the current situation at the hotel. Room was dirty and there was only cold water coming from the shower. Staff was excellent though.

Perfect for the price, great staff and breadfast

I just spent a month living at the hotel. If you request a room in the back, it will be quite. It is well located, the staff are amazing, they all speak English and are helpful.

Skylark is the best against price

Skylark is excellent in everything. Iocation is good (near by hoanquiem lake, Donesuan market, Tang long palace, etc on foot) Cleaness,Kindness,Calmness are Excellent Especially, Beer in the swimming pool at night on loop tap Breakfast is good, especially omelets.

The staff are extremely nice and helpful, however the property needs some work. On some sites this property is a 4 star but I’d give it max 3. The was an odd window in our bathroom looking into the common hallway, the common area facilities were dirty, and the floors in the room needed to be cleaned. The location is great and walkable.

All of the stuff were friendly and attentive. They tried to help their guests in an utmost effort. Especially Dragon who was nice and energetic to give useful information and took a very good care of all his customers. We didn’t ask for everyone’s name but all of them were nice, polite and attentive. Thanks a ton for making our stay enjoyable.

Great location & staff, but worn out room

Brilliant location & the staff working at this hotel was incredibly friendly and service-minded. Unfortunately, the room in particular which I stayed in was very worn out and both white dust came off the wall next to the bed when touching it, and normal dust was found on top of some furniture in the room which indicated that not all areas of the room are cleaned. As the pictures displayed on the website looked much better than the actual room I stayed in myself, I'm not sure if this is or was specific to my room as I could also hear some renovation going on which might mean they're currently freshening up the rooms and hadn't gotten to the specific room I stayed in yet. All in all, I'm satisfied with the stay due to the staff.

The staff need to get their act together. I was told I could checkout late (2 hours past checout time) nobody ever said I would need to pay extra. Then on the day of checkput they tried to scam me and charge me more money. The pool and breakfast were not at the hotel it was at another hotel 2 doors down. Breakfast was mediocre at best and the pool area was so disgusting I couldn't use it. There was no fridge. The toilet didn't work right. This place was not at all what was advertised and such a disappointment.

Støyfull plass å bo. Mye trafikkstøy hele tiden og også hele tiden støy fra renovering av nabobygget. Stor balkong men har ikke blitt rengjort på lang tid. Innendørs på rommet var alt greit. Prøvde ikke bassenget, men beskjeden størrelse.
