Just a short train ride from London, this historic market town captivates with its cobbled High Street and imposing medieval castle. Catch a show at G Live or Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, then explore Guildford Cathedral's soaring spires and Loseley Park's Tudor mansion.
The Percy Arms is truly a hidden gem in Surrey. Situated in the quaint village of Chilworth, this quiet Inn was absolutely fantastic on all fronts. The room was gorgeous and spacious. The bar/restaurant offers upscale comfort food and is a place for locals and tourists alike. The staff went above and beyond, and were very welcoming.
Only 9 minutes away from Guildford and with a train station very close by, the Percy Arms is a great location for commuting and traveling around.

Clean rooms, kind and responsive staff, close to public transportation, and in a quiet but nice little town. No complaints and definitely a great option when visiting London.

Stayed at the Mitre years ago, it has been renovated and was so much nicer. Room was clean as was the bathroom, I wasn’t keen on the toiletries that were in the bathroom, but I usually travel with my own anyway. There was a/c in my room and considering the whether it was very welcomed. I was given an upgrade to a room that overlooked the river which was very nice.
Only one complaint was the Service in the Restaurant that overlooked the river and the Cooked Breakfast which was not as nice as I...

We had an adapted room which was fine with us. It was big, provided a view on the terrace in the back. Being winter, the terrace was empty every day-night. Even if the room was just above the bar area, we did not hear any noise even on New Year Eve.
We love this area because we are close to the Tube and the 22 bus is just infront of the door.
There are several restaurants for coffee, brunch, pubs… and the restaurant of the hotel is also a very good choice.
We will be back!

Thus is a perfect hotel for travellers passing through Heathrow. We stayed 2 nights and it is walkable with all our luggage from Terminal 4 linkbrudge. The next day we took the Piccadilly Line into London City for sightseeing and the Big Red Bus. It was very easy. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was a very good buffet. I would definitely stay here again for this tyoe of travel.
