« While the description of the property was technically true, it fell short of expectations. For example, the description said that there were room darkening shades, but it was just regular shades that were very basic and let in a lot of light. Because of food allergies, we have to have access to a kitchen and this is why we went VRBO instead of a hotel or similar. The kitchen was ridiculously unstocked. « Overall very clean room, great stay for the price. It was a bit farther from Metro station (NoMA) than I anticipated, 1.1 miles, if you plan to use subway. The host was friendly and communicated well, also left water and essential items, which was appreciated. »

These have been mentioned in earlier reviews: shower curtain should be replaced, step stool to reach microwave, hooks for bathroom towels needed, and etc. The location was perfect for us, lots of towels supplied, coffee available. « It was nice to have a clean, modern place to stay that is walking distance to Brookland, where my daughter lives. Hotels are not close to her so this was an excellent alternative. Modern appliances, great shower, and comfortable bed were a definite plus. The building and apartment are secure with codes locks. »
