"We stayed at the Congress for a Bears game. We selected it based on price and proximity to Soldier Field. The price was incredibly reasonable, so I was a bit concerned about the quality and cleanliness of the room and hotel prior to checking in. We were more than pleased with our room and the hotel overall and feel it was great value for our money. The room was very clean and had been updated quite recently. It was roomie in both the room itself and the bathroom. We also appreciated the amenities in the room, including a coffee maker, refrigerator, a large, walk-in closet, plenty of drawer storage for clothes and extra seating and table. It is also near do much in the city, so it’s a great place to stay. The only issue that I had is I wish the TV had been a bit larger. But other than that, I would highly recommend the Congress."

"The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean upon arrival. Furniture, lamps, etc. were in acceptable condition; I was very pleased. The bathroom and its amenities were great. The bed was firm, but comfortable. The A/C worked very well. The view of the Chicago skyline from the window on the fourth floor was beautiful. There are many great restaurants and shops within walking distance (2-3 block parameter) of the Jaslin. I had lunch at DaiFuku Ramen across the street. Highly recommend! Chinatown is amazing! I hope to visit again in the future. Overall: Very good experience 4.5/5 stars"

"I was only there for a few hours each night. The location is great. It’s close to a lot of cool Chicago spots near millennium park. The building could use some upkeep, but not bad for the price. Aesthetically unpleasant though, mostly outside since the location in general attracts homeless and rats after hours, nothing too unusual for a huge city."
