The apartment is right on a bus route to the National Mall/Smithsonian Museums, a 15 minute walk to the metro, 10 minute walk to a supermarket, and it's practically nextdoor to a restaurant. The location felt safe. The price was good. The kitchen came equipped with essentials. The on-site laundry wasn't overpriced (pro tip: bring quarters for laundry, it's coin-op.) The host provided linens, towels, and toiletries (and the towels were super soft & fluffy!)...

« Bed advertised as queen but is definitely a full by measurement, pillows were flat, and bedroom curtains blocked no light. This is the prime example of why people stay in their property before renting it out to others. The Wi-Fi also did not work for it entire stay. The property manager replied on day 1 that they were working on it, but we never heard anything further and it never worked. If these points get resolved, I would recommend this property. There were cockroaches in the bathroom along with a moldy shower curtain, active mouse traps set up in one closet, very dirty windows, plastic bottles and soda cans discarded in front of the front window (which is directly at the view level), broken plastic blinds on the back window, and some of the furniture was broken or dirty.
