Tropical Resort Style Compound

This spacious 3 bed 3.5 bath single story smart home sits securely on 3 fenced in acres on the outskirts of both Houston and Galveston. These vast grounds which are protected behind a remote entry gate also include a gorgeous swimming pool with a cascading waterfall. There is a pool house with industrial out door kitchen and dining table for 10 and a pond for fishing and a tranquil bubbling coi pond. There is a fire pit with seating perfect for roasting marshmellows. The entire property is immersed in pristine tropical landscaping giving it a resort feel that really inspires guests to release all stresses and relax.
The home itself has a spacious back porch attached where you can relax or dine and appreciate all these added features all while you are able to control the entire home and its functions and choose what plays on the speakers that cover the property by simply the command of your voice.
This inviting home was built for relaxation, privacy, and lots of fun. Due to the complexity of numerous systems and amount of maintenance this property requires there is a grounds keeper living in a garage apartment in the rear who will keep things running smoothly.
To clarify if you plan on having more than the 8 guests there is a $10 per person charge and and anymore than 10 additional guests will be considered an event.

For anyone that is booking this property please understand that it is UNAVAILABLE. My family and I had to physically drive to the property (4 hours away) after a series of unresponsive messages and calls. The host has contacted VRBO to get this property removed a few years ago and it is still on the site. My family planned an event for this property and to find out that I was unavailable last minute on Memorial Day weekend was devastating. The VRBO customer service department was HORRIBLE and unhelpful. I will NOT be booking anything else with VRBO.

Not a RELAXING resort escape

Pictures on website are staged as property is in disrepair with broken window, broken shower master glass wall, holes in the walls, broken blinds, NOT CLEANED so no comfort feeling for COVID-19 safety, swept up a pile in kitchen and wiped off table to sit and play games as outside table was piled up with all kinds of odd items. Dirty rags hanging in shower and maybe comet caked on bottom of tub. Towels were piled on the couch in the living room and we didn't touch them as the couch was definitely not clean. Ring doorbell camera in living room and animal had been inside probably a cat as feathers were abundant on the floors and allergies were an issue. Large pot of chili on the stove when we arrived and sat it outside door for groundskeeper who was onsite and it was still there when we left. Scary for a group of women as he hovered around by blowing off sidewalks around the area we were in and working on truck in driveway and we barricaded ourselves inside. Hot tub was not working and he attempted to fix but there were cords going to it and it was a definite safety concern so we avoided as well as the large machete we had to walk by in the grass next to a fan that he was working on left by sidewalk right out of back door and palm tree had been pushed over and left in back by the pool and lots of items(cars, safe, random assorted other items piled around). We were uncomfortable with the stay and didn't want to reach out to owner until we left and I messaged her yesterday with no response so leaving this review to hopefully help others. She was accommodating up front letting me delay the trip and I was very glad that I opted not to go alone.

Great time

We had a great time and the fresh flowers where a really nice touch.. Enjoyed the pool area and the resort feel ! Eric and Linsey where so nice and did a great job of taking care of us we look forward to another stay .

Amazing stay!!

Let me start off by saying that my family had a blast! We were fortunate to be there the weekend and take advantage of the amazing pool and pool house layout. Both owners welcomed us so nicely and made us feel at home throughout our stay! We will definitely be booking again, thanks again!

Rocky first impression

The facilities (mostly outdoor) were not properly prepared at the time of check in, although they improved throughout the stay. Some of the advertised features were not available throughout the stay. The property owner was great, and maintained contact with us, yet the property manager was harder to contact throughout the stay. The indoor amenities were great overall. In summary, we really liked the property, but were disappointed with the availability of the amenities.
