"Place had bed bugs. Loud people yelling screaming stomping dogs barking. I was on first floor and my windows did not lock. The bathroom had mold. The smell or cigarettes and marijuana all through the place "
"Glad we discovered this gem. It was our first time at this classy inn in what appears to be a leafy uptown neighborhood within easy walking distance to a hip downtown area. Friendly co-owner, beds were comfy and the delicious breakfast was more than we could finish. I'm recommending this spot and looking forward to making a point of returning next time we're passing through!"

"David and Inez rock! They are absolutely the finest 2 individuals my wife and I have ever met. We really enjoyed our engaging converstions with them every day we stayed at the Squirrel's Nest. "This was our first stay at a B&B so we were not really sure what to expect. I have to say we were more than impressed! The Inn is large and gorgeous yet so cozy. The hosts were very welcoming. The room we rented was spacious and had super soft plush carpet, a fireplace, very comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower. We were in walking distance to the festival we were in town attending. This inn is in walking distance to the downtown area where there are multiple dining options, little boutiques and the Mississippi river. "
