« The property was extremely clean and the mattresses were very comfortable. It was a little hard to find the dining room light switch. which was on the chandelier! It would be helpful to have a table for food preparation in the kitchen. The owner needs to explain where the recycling goes, as it was in the garage, not outside. We would definitely go to the same place if we return to Portland. »

« 1 North Street is ideally located in the heart of Munjoy Hill, a bustling, friendly community featuring three bakeries, two taverns, two restaurants and easy access to the Eastern Promenade and Fort Allen overlooking Casco Bay. Our apartment was spacious and perfect for two people. Off street parking was a welcome bonus. We enjoyed our daily walks through well maintained older neighborhoods. This Munjoy Hill gem is a must when visiting Portland, ME. »

« Our stay was great in Portland. The apartment was very spacious and worked perfectly for us. The king bed was very comfortable, AC window unit cooled the place down very well, sitting room and kitchen were great for downtime between activities. The off street parking was extremely convenient as well. The location is central, things within walking distance or short drive away. Highly recommend. »

I liked that it was really convenient to downtown, but outside of the busy, touristy parts of town. The owners were communicative, but not intrusive. It was overall a great experience. Comfortable beds, clean towels and a well equipped kitchen. Late check out and a parking space provided for an extra fee. The property manager David was fantastic. Instant communication with any questions that we had upon arrival. We recommend this property to others visiting Portland. »
