"The Larix is the best hotel in Kimberley by a landslide. Modern and yet cozy with the charm of a country inn. Inside is a very pleasant staff ready to help with anything you need. There are E-bikes to borrow and complimentary delicious fresh cookies and drinks to enjoy as well. The room is large modern and comfortable but poorly lit. The breakfast was simple but fresh and delicious. The location is the real star of hotel , located steps from everything in town. Parking is free but can get over crowded during busy times."

"I was disappointed in this hotel, I had a burnt out lightbulb in my bathroom, the usb ports on my lamp did not work. No parking was available, two of the three nights I was there and the only coffee left in my room was decaffeinated. However, the location is excellent to walk to coffee shops, restaurants, etc."

"Our room was very clean. Our bedding was clean, however it was stained in multiple places. The exterior hallway to our room was very cobwebby. Check-in took a while and the whole process seemed quite out-dated. We were given the wrong room originally and had to go back to the front desk and wait for it to get sorted out again. Was nice though for the price we paid!"
