The Neighborhood: We are situated in the Old Pompano neighborhood which is primarily residential, offering a quieter atmosphere than some of the more commercial areas of Pompano Beach. There are several local shops, restaurants, and parks within walking distance or a short drive and the coastline is just minutes away. Getting Around: The house is located in a walkable community close to the beach and many shops and restaurants. Bringing a car would be the most convenient option but rideshare services like Lyft and Uber are also available. Kitchen and main bathroom have been updated. Second bathroom, although functional, was tiny, comparable to an rv size bathroom. Blinds are broken, and bbq is rusted and unusable. TV remote was hidden under the tv and did not function properly. Had to go buy a universal remote. Don’t plan on grilling. The bottom is rusted out and not all burners work. We had some pretty serious issues on check in, but the host was responsive and things were taken care of as promptly as possible.
