"The room I was in had a remote that didn’t work. When I called the front desk there was no help. I was there for 3 days and they did not even try to accommodate me for this issue. Second the bathroom walls/door were very dirty. Visible strange chunks in the bathroom that could’ve gotten cleaned before we got there with a rag or scrub brush. The sink was fully clogged, if you ran the sink it wouldn’t drain at all. When my fiancé and I tried the breakfast the eggs were grainy…like terribly textured. Bacon thin as paper and dryer than a cracker…we had some hopes for ATLEAST the waffles and when we put the batter in the skillet it was extremely watered down which caused the waffle to be bad. Overall the bed was the best thing about this place. It was soooo comfy. Everything else was a bust. "

"Over priced conference hotel lacking serious staff capacity. The “restaurant” had one server and it took us almost two hours to get our dinner. Food was cold when we got it. Only one bartender for a sold out hotel that couldn’t keep up with happy hour or dinner rush. The outside seating area was completely covered in bird poop and not useable. "

"I loved the room. It was decorated very nicely and I especially liked the outdoor patio found in the back entrance to the room. It had pretty wicker furniture. We sat there a number of times during our day. It felt private and it was unexpected. Not all the rooms have the patio, but all of them have chairs outside the room. There are two entrances and exits to the rooms. The breakfast was excellent. The best breakfast food options I’ve ever had in a hotel. Large variety of options.The food was freshly made and all tasty. Instead of a typical hotel lobby for the breakfast, they have an entire separate restaurant building. Very large to accommodate many people. We did not use the pool or Jacuzzi, but they both looked very inviting. There was also a basketball hoop /balls and variety of outdoor activity options.ie: a small putting green. I strongly recommend a stay at this hotel."

"Absolutely wonderful location. The e-bikes were so fun to ride on the waterfront. We loved spending the afternoon in the spa and enjoying a massage. Amazing views and trails right from the property. The morning yoga was good one day (very peaceful and skillful teacher with excellent alignment cues), then pretty bad the next day with a different teacher (who was doing lots of annoyingly loud, smelly breath-work the entire class--with coffee breath; she used limited alignment cues so it felt fluffy and a bit unsafe). Sula had phenomenal food and vibe! Ate in the pub 3x and Sula's main room 3x. So many delicious vegetarian and vegan options. Scrumptious! But very expensive. I'd definitely take another trip to Cavallo and have already told my friends and family about it--just a perfectly lovely place in a perfectly gorgeous location. What a fun trip!"
