"The hotel is a bit dated to some but that’s what keeps the city rif raff away. Hikers and outdoor enthusiasts stay here so be prepared to use the grounds and stay outside most of the time. When you finally do crash inside you will find very comfortable beds, amazing views and complimentary water. Internet was good. Main Inn restaurant food was delicious. Catering food fantastic. Shared areas with fireplaces were perfect. No elevator but only 2 floors. "

The common areas were visibly unsanitary, with stained carpets, overflowing trash, and surfaces that clearly had not been wiped down or disinfected on any kind of regular schedule. Despite Best Western’s advertised focus on cleanliness and enhanced “We Care Clean” protocols, there was no sign of routine cleaning in the lobby, hallways, or other shared spaces during my stay. The common areas were visibly unsanitary, with stained carpets, overflowing trash, and surfaces that clearly had not been wiped down or disinfected on any kind of regular schedule. Despite Best Western’s advertised focus on cleanliness and enhanced “We Care Clean” protocols, there was no sign of routine cleaning in the lobby, hallways, or other shared spaces during my stay. The so‑called “hot breakfast” tasted like yesterday’s leftovers run through a microwave, with rubbery eggs, sad-looking meats, and stale breads that felt anything but fresh. Food presentation and temperature made it hard to trust that basic food safety standards were being followed, so I ended up skipping most of it after the first attempt. On top of that, there were no normal hotel services being offered: no regular housekeeping, no clear schedule for room cleaning, and no proactive towel or linen changes unless you went out of your way to ask."
