"The Empire Hotel is literally across the street from Lincoln Center, so if you are in NYC for a performance, the location cannot be beat. The Empire Rooftop bar/restaurant was so delightful we went twice, for Sunday brunch and cocktails before the performance. The hotel is showing some wear and could use TLC; for example the wall artwork in the lobby was in disrepair, a lobby TV was held up with 2-by-4s, our bathroom toilet seat was broken, and the room's radiator/AC sounded like a jackhammer....

"Water and coffee in the room, great location, only thing was the cleaning staff comes pretty early on Sundays and opens the door even if you yell you’re in there so maybe put a do not disturb on the door whenever you’re sleeping."
