"Very spacious and plenty of spaces to hang out throughout the house and lawn. The touch to the design detail are immaculate and the cleanliness is spot on down to the nicely pressed linens. The jacuzzi is wonderful to wind down at the end of the day or when it is not a beach day. We appreciate the welcome basket that was loaded with local goods. Location in Downderry is very serene and quiet, far away from the large tourist crowds of Cornwall. You can't beat waking up and walking into the kitchen and conservatory with a view of the beach and cliffs. The only recommendation I would have is for better quality cooking pans, bigger pots and fully loaded gas for the BBQ. Otherwise, the kitchen is very well stocked. Thank you for such an amazing stay!"

"We have just come back from a lovely few days, and had a great time - I would definitely book again, This is a fantastic cottage in a lovely location with sea views in both directions. Portwinkle is a lovely, small village right on the coast with two beaches, the South West Coast path running through, and even a licensed beach bar open into the evening. Being Cornwall, we had a variety of weather, including unbroken sunshine and almost too hot for the coast path, through to fog so thick we couldn't see the hillside or the sea!The apartment is great. The provided directions were perfect (though a little out of date - the Jolly Roger is now Silas Cove and the parking prices have risen) and the tight access to the included parking was well described.The views are maximised with the living and kitchen space on the top floor, with bedrooms below, and the cinema room in the basement. It is well furnished with lots of good quality cookware and utensils. We even managed to cook a full roast dinner for 7. As always with these type of places, the knives are blunt, so we were glad we had brought some decent, sharp knives with us (this isn't a complaint, just a comment - I doubt most guests could be trusted not to ruin good knives). There are plenty of glasses (including plastic) and a great collection of beach things to use. The hot tub is ace, though not the 'jacuzzi' style you may see elsewhere. It was really nice to sit and enjoy the views and the sea air."

"Nice property, excellent location. Beach may not suit people with mobility issues, very rocky.Although kitchen was quite well equipped we felt it lacked a few things eg another chopping board, some much smaller coffee cups rather than half litre mugs would have been a good idea! We would return if a few little things were changed."

"Wonderful location Right on beach, lovely sea view Vrbo sent code the day before that was incorrect… caused a delay in getting inWe managed to get in touch with the property company, even though it was a Sunday afternoon Hot tub lovely, garden secluded and relaxing Everything you’d need for a short get away Right on southwest coast path The garden and path would be even better and bigger if the hedge had been trimmed back… the gardeners amongst us would want to tidy the garden a bit ! Parking handy for property Good access to couple of pubs in walking distance Would definately recommend "
