"The Casita was absolutely charming. It was so tastefully decorated and had all the creature comforts waiting for us. The host even provided a nice selection of cool drinks and a complementary chocolate gift. We enjoyed spreading out in the spacious rooms and exploring the different moods. Each space provided. From the tranquil patio to the sunken conversation pit and the well appointed living room. The bed was super comfortable and all of the fabrics on the pillows and blankets throughout the house were very soft and a good quality. The full kitchen was very convenient for us because we like to prepare our own healthy meals and the host even provided a well supplied spice rack and all the crockery we would need. The area around the Casita is beyond lovely with the ocean, a short walk away and some of the best hiking in California less than 2 miles from our door. Downtown Montecito is a hidden treasure of luxury, dining and boutique shopping. I hope to come back soon and spend even more time here."
Montecito Beach House w/Hot Tub & Cold Plunge - Walk to Beach and Restaraunts
10/10 Excellent
"This is a really excellent house! We were a three-generation party of ten, two grandparents, three kids with spouses and two young grandchildren. The 4 bedrooms, with en-suite bathrooms, were roomy and afforded good privacy. The open living room/dining area/kitchen area was spacious and well equipped. The main outdoor space had a large turf area and a latticed dining area where we ate all our meals except breakfast. Walking distance to the beach and to shops/excellent dining. Close to the 101, but so well landscaped that we hardly knew the highway was there. Just wow! A solid ten! "
Beachfront Retreat On Sand with Charming Nautical Features | Lower Unit
10/10 Excellent
"My partner and I celebrated our engagement here and absolutely loved it. It was small, but just good enough for the two of us. It was on the beachfront and having immediate access to the beach was amazing. We had reservations to Caruso's which was just a short 2 min walk down the beach, which we recommend! You do share the building with the upper unit, but other than hearing their footsteps here and there, we did not interact with them at all. Host and everyone a part of the rental company were very accomodating. They gave us complimentary wine and helped us with our accomodations to enjoy our engagement to the fullest! "
"We stayed here for Presiden't day weekend and it was really great - you can not beat the location, right on the beach and close to downtown Montecito. You can also walk to the Rosewood, which is just gorgeous. We got a day pass for the pool one day and walked down from the bungalow. The only critique I would have is get rid of the 1-ply toilet paper! For a place this nice (and expensive) I would appreciate a nicer toilet paper experience ;) We will definitely come back!"
"We had a great stay for spring break. Location is unmatched and the property was perfect for our family of five. Dianne, the house manager, was extremely helpful and jumped on any issue we had during our stay. "
