« Perfect place to stay in Harper’s Ferry. Cottage is exactly as pictured nestled on a quiet street. Very clean , comfortable and beautifully decorated. The fenced yard was large and the perfect area for the dog to run in. The hosts were pleasant and responsive. »

« Nice to have separate sleeping areas. Very convenient location, was able to walk to or take short drives. Very quiet and homey. Loved the bunnies and carrots. »

Great for our family of 6 with plenty of room and the home is stocked with essentials and conveniences (books, games, extra air mattress, crib, booster seat, etc.) Would definitely stay again for a get away to Berkeley Springs. »

« What a nice, history rich house to stay in. You can tell it has old bones but has been maintained and is full of character. Loved the relaxing setting with the river running around the house. Plenty to explore on the property down by the water and in the woods. Exactly what’s needed for a relaxing get away. Close to town as well for anything needed. Kirsten was a great host. »

« This house and visit overall was spectacular. Rorke was incredibly responsive, the house was very clean, there were many helpful little notes about the quirks of the house, and the location right on the river could not be more peaceful and ideal. »

« This adorable home is newly renovated with everything you could want! Everything was so clean and fresh. Laurel was a wonderful host and communicated clearly, asking if we needed anything else. We could easily walk to restaurants (less than two blocks away), and downtown Harper's Ferry was a little over a mile away, which was a perfect walk. We went tubing and mostly hung out at the house for a perfect girls' getaway weekend. I HIGHLY recommend staying at this property! I would go back! »

« Everything went super smoothly. Nancy is an excellent communicator. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the main strip and that walk is through a beautiful neighborhood with friendly folks all around. 10/10 would stay again. »

« We wanted a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we got. We like Hedgesville’s proximity to Berkeley Springs, Harpers Ferry and Winchester, VA. Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us.
