Had a great stay at the Cal-Poly Motel 6! I really liked the ease of check-in with the virtual agent. I also actually liked the cozy room size, it was clean and compact. I will say, it could use a more efficient heater. The lady that assisted after hours at the desk was friendly, polite, and my pup loved her! She checked in occasionally and helped with any room needs. A good location, it’s central to a lot of good food, parks, and walks and I felt safe, even walking my pup at night. Would definitely stay again when in Arcata!

This was perhaps the best motel 6 I’ve ever been to; room was in perfect condition! Quiet air conditioning, USB ports, fringe and microwave, and large countertop was just some of the nicities. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

Very very positive.

Pleasantly surprised. Clean, fresh, new. Only one complaint- the pillows were hard and flat. Bring your own. Owner/manager very nice, building well maintained. Good 4 day visit. Would definitely recommend.

Its a nice motel, quiet, clean, pet friendly of course. I used to live over in this area in some apartments behind the small shopping center next to it and I feel its pretty safe. They have cameras installed around the motel though for guests peace of mind. Its got restaurants And Jitter Bean right across the street super convenient.. warm place to stay for a night or 2. Alao the shower handle fell off while turning it one and they were very nice about it and offered a change of room immediately and offered it in the room right next door. Its a welcoming place.

It was simple for us. 2 adults and a baby. Of course it’sa motel. So surrounding area is whatever but has some gas stations and fast food. So that helped get is ready for our multi day trip to the redwood parks. It’s a good location depending on what you are doing. Plus eureka is right by. Checked in super late so check in was virtual and card didn’t work last day so had to get a new card. Virtual front desk. But it was easy. It was good got our trip. But now that I no know what to expect with the surrounding area. Might stay somewhere different. But was happy with what we needed for our trip.

Less than 5 minutes from CPH

Exactly what I paid for, a nice bed to sleep on and a hot shower at the end of the day. I came to help my daughter move out of her dorm and it was a perfect stay. Thanks M6!
