"EJ at the front desk has such a great personality! I stopped in a bit earlier than the 3pm check in to see if maybe our room was ready. It wasn't but that was a-ok with us as we wanted to do a bit of shopping. Not even 30 minutes later EJ was on the phone with me saying our room was ready and we could check in anytime. The room was fresh and clean and very quiet considering there was many hockey teams in the building. "

"Very warm room and the parking was secure. Coffee and tea was excellent! Artwork and layout of the room was very creative and luxurious . Also there was a huge TV screen with access to Netflix. The only thing is that I needed to call in to get the code to enter the building, the email never arrived. "

"I was not told what time Breakfast was and the parking was a problem with construction workers showing up day and night I went for peace and quiet and I did not get it and the pillows were terrible they were like fluff balls I really did not enjoy my 2 days there I will book someplace else next time I live at a Retreat Centre and I'm sorry but our place is alot better could have saved my money and just stayed here,.we had construction going on last year and we told our guests that this was happening I was not informed about this at all,so all in all I was not happy at all"

"The room was pretty gross. It smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Not like someone had just been smoking in there, but like it had years of smoking and it’s embedded in everything. Walking through the property you can tell it’s not well cared for. They painted the walls in sections but there was excess paint on all door jams and signs. It’s like someone painted who had no skill and got paint everywhere. The front desk staff was nice enough though. The breakfast was sub par at best. The food wasn’t great and the toaster burnt one side of everything and left the other side untoasted. I won’t stay there again, I have low standards and this didn’t meet them."

"Overall this is a very nice hotel, decent breakfast, friendly staff, clean... My one complaint is the height of the toilet. It's so low that the towel rack was hanging off probably from people using it to help them get back up. I was traveling with my senior mother and she had to go down the hall to use the family washroom because it had a rail. Definitely not an accessible hotel. The beds were comfortable though, just get higher toilets please. I'm only 5'4 and I had trouble getting back up. "
