« Peaceful, quiet. I like how a guest service team member came to check in with me abiut a half hour after I git settled in, wanting to know if there was anything I needed. And they also built my fire for me in the fire pit, so I would have no trouble getting it going. It's those little niceties that make me feel very much at home. And allows me to truly relax. I love it there! »

« Good location liked the paddle boats! Bbq and outdoors nice! Fire pit was nice but didn’t get to use it due to restrictions! Swimming not the best as very rocky area! No AC so it is warm but we brought or own fans which helped some! Overall nice place and no issues! »

« Nous avons trouvé Chester était assez central pour passer soit la journée dans les secteurs de Lunnenburg, Mahone Bay, Peggy's Cove, Wolfville etc... La section de la maison destinée aux locataires est très représentative des photos. Toute les commodités sont presentes. Salle de bain nouvellement rénovée. Le seul hic se retrouve à l'extérieur, l'aménagement semble super en photo, mais le deck près de l'eau est dangereux, aucune rambarde. Une installation vitrée serait parfaite. En ce moment le...

« Very nice, very clean, and pretty fully equipped. Comfy bed and spacious rooms. Great and helpful staff. Kitchen could use a few more dishes and silverware for those who cook and eat on the premises. Overall, I would recommend and would go back! »

« The cottage was comfortable and well set up. We will definitely consider going back: it's a great distance for a weekend getaway from Halifax, and the amenities are nice (that sauna!). The only issue we found (because we went to curl up and read books together!) was that the lighting in the main space was not great: a couple of floor lamps would have been great. »

« We were looking for a quiet getaway at the edge of the world, no destracrions, no noise, and that's exactly what we got. Host was very responsive and courteous. We felt very taken care of and they even returned forgotten items to us after we'd left. Room was very clean and there was lots to do to fill the time. Would highly recommend, will be staying again! »

« This is a great property from a stay and enjoy the place option, to a jumping off point to see Nova Scotia.The house is very comfortable and the hosts go above and beyond to make your stay is all that you hoped for. The place is well stocked, including snacks, coffee and condiments. The beds are comfortable. and the setting is wonderful. Halifax is nearby. Highways to take you anywhere are only minutes away.I have had many VRBO experiences and I have never dealt with a better host. »

« A little bit of paradise with spectacular sunsets! This property is meticulously clean, beautifully built, artfully decorated and thoughtfully equipped. Information and communication was excellent.The cottage beach has tons of cool rocks at low tide, and the nearby Cape Split hike is fantastic. « We stayed here for one week with extended family. There was plenty of room for everyone, lots of nooks and crannies to relax. Lots of room for time together and time alone to read a book or relax. The cottage and lake area had everything we needed! The host, Rebecca, was very responsive and answered questions immediately. Will be back for a third booking next year! »
