« Four of us (two adults and two grown kids) stayed for five nights over the holiday weekend. The location of this property right on the Duck/Southern Shores boundary was just great. Sunset views of the bay were great and the ocean was a short walk or drive away. The property was very clean. We are used to renting homes that are a little more lived in, so the lack of games and puzzles (and basic cooking necessities like salt and pepper) threw us a bit. « My family and friends had a fantastic trip and we loved staying at the Salty Duck! Everything was perfect from the location, the amentities, the pool, hot tub and how clean/comfortable everything was. We look forward to staying at another Salt Coast Host property again- can't wait :) »

« The house was located about a mile from Duck Village which was perfect. It also was super close to the pool and a decent walk to the beach. The cons were that the backyard was overrun with shrubs and weeds and therefore not useable for pets or small children. The deck is not in good shape and the railing is loose. It was not ideal for small children and everyone had to wear shoes at all times due to blisters. The AC was not working on day 1-3 but was eventually fixed. The dishwasher was broken...

« Book this house! We had a fantastic time. The house has good vibes if you will. it was perfect for our family. Quiet neighborhood, great biking access, easy walk to beach, good size pool, hot hot tub. Easy contact with property management. Any issue we had (we didn’t have much at all) was quickly and efficiently addressed. Our whole family agreed we will be staying here again. We were talking about booking again before our trip was even halfway over. Hands down one of the best trips we’ve taken...
