"We had a great stay at the yurt. Beautiful views, abundant wildlife. Peaceful. Was a great place to have our honeymoon at! Quick communication and super easy process. We’ll definitely be back."

The historic downtown district offers charming shops and the DuBois Area Historical Society museum where locals share fascinating coal mining stories. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike scenic trails at nearby Bilger's Rocks or cool off at Treasure Lake's sandy beaches during summer months.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel, and I must highlight the exceptional host who made our stay truly memorable. The hotel itself was exquisite, offering comfortable accommodations and stunning amenities. However, what stood out the most was the host's warm and attentive service. They greeted us with a genuine smile, ensured our needs were met, and shared valuable local insights, making our visit truly special. The host's personal touch and dedication to guest...

Excellent room with comfortable and cozy beds. Amazing and variety of breakfast spread as well. Pleasant stay overall and would definitely like to return if passing through Dubois again.

This was a fine stop for the night on a trip south. Be a great base for exploring the aeea. But do plan your meals as this is a small community with limited options.

Let me be completely honest. I wouldn’t change a thing. They have one of the best all inclusive breakfast bars I’ve seen. This hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. We had a roll out bed in the room for my daughter and when they cleaned they even made her bed with her stuffie on it lol.

A charming old home - comfortable room. There is no elevator so the second and 3rd floors are not accessible for some. Although the rooms do not have fridges, we were most welcome to store meds and perishables in the kitchen fridge.
Host Richard and his mum are most welcoming and kind.
