« Very nice and clean cabin. Which we had more time. We got in very late and left a little before checkout. Wish there wasnt construction going on right next door early in the morning but they are building another cabin and i guess they have to work sometime. Was hoping to see some elk bit didn't. Loved sitting on the porch. »

« This cabin has everything you need for a short getaway in Elk country. We saw several elk during our travels. And a black bear in the field next to us! Peaceful quiet location right off the main road. Easy drive to all the viewing sights in Benezette and Quehanna wild woods. The bed was very comfortable, king size. Also has a twin bed in the same room if needed. The kitchen has all the basic items and supplies for easy meal preps. The water isn't drinkable, but lots of bottled water was...

« When we arrived at the house on 7/11/2025 night we were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the house looked! It was clean and roomy. My great grand daughter was so excited because she could investigate everything. The air conditioner was on so the house was cool . Which was great. The one and only issue, was not having a good supply of bath towels, kitchen towelsAnd wash clothes. We found that you having work done throughout the house. It was great and we all had comfortable sleep...

« The driveway up into the property is very steep and somewhat rutted—it’s rural and to be expected. Just be aware. So dark at night that (without turning on a light) I got lost coming back to bed from the bathroom—LOVELY! If you want peace and quiet—this is the spot. »

« We had five adults and a dog and we did not feel cramped. Ed was wonderful about answering our questions in preparation and greeting us when we arrived. there are so many extra little touches inside of the camper and the outside space is so beautifully designed. The pictures do not do it justice. We loved that the location was equally distant between Cook Forest and elk County. If it was raining in one location, it was clear in the other, and we always had somewhere to go. But it was also lovely...
